Finax is an oral drug manufactured by Dr. Reddy's and containing as active substance Finasteride. Finasteride blocks the action of an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. This enzyme changes testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow or hair loss in males. Finax is very effective in treating Finasteride is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy such as frequent and difficult urination and acute urinary retention.
