Finpecia (Finasteride) by Cipla: results, dosages, cycles and side effects
Finpecia is an oral medication manufactured by Cipla, India and containing active substance Finasteride which is a substance that blocks the action of an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. This enzyme changes testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow or hair loss in males. Therefore Finpecia is used in treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH, enlargement of the prostate gland) and male pattern baldness. It is also effective in combating the androgenic effects of anabolic steroids used in a cycle. The average dosage of Finpecia varies between 1 mg and 5 mg per day. The drug should not be used by women and children. The main side effects of Finpecia are decreased libido and erectile problems, as well as a series of an allergic reaction, including unexplained skin rash, itching, hives, unexplained swelling, wheezing, or difficulty breathing or swallowing. Finpecia comes in boxes, each unit containing 30 pills (1 mg/pill).
