Clomidex (Clomiphene Citrate) by Sciroxx: results, dosages, cycles and side effects

Clomidex is an oral drug manufactured Sciroxx Laboratories and containing active substance Clomiphene Citrate. It is a nonsteroidal stimulant used to treat ovulatory dysfunction and polycystic ovary syndrome in women. It works by stimulating an increase in the amount of hormones that support the growth and release of a mature egg (ovulation). Clomidex is also taken by bodybuilders that use anabolic steroids to bind the estrogen receptors in their bodies, thereby blocking the effects of estrogen, such as gynecomastia. It is also responsible for the recovery of Testosterone levels after a steroid cycle. Clomidex comes in boxes, each unit containing 50 pills (50 mg/pill).

Clomidex is a mixed estrogen activator/blocker and acts by holding back the estrogen receptors in the brain. It also has the property to reduce the adverse effect of various damage of muscle tissue. Clomidex minimize or block the effects of estrogen in the body. Clomidex is crucial for resuming the normal production of Testosterone and to make catabolic hormone cortisol ineffective, as it is responsible for decreasing the muscle gains. The average dosage of Clomidex for male bodybuilders is 50-100 mg per day. The period of administration should last between 4 and 6 weeks. The dosage should be lower in the first day with gradual increase to 300 mg in days 2-11, then followed by a lowering to 50 mg in days 12-21.However according to bodybuilding community the opinions related to the dosage are quite different. Some bodybuilders use 100 mg daily. The active life of the drug is 5-7 days. Clomidex can be taken with HCG - Human Chorionic Gonadotropin for the first week or two after the steroids use. After that the usage of HGG must be discontinued. Clomidex can also be used as a maintenance anti-estrogen drug during a steroid cycle. As well as in case of Novadlex the combination with Proviron is often utilized and proved quite effective.
