Caverta 100 mg is an oral drug having as active substance Sildenafil Citrate which works by inhibiting GMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5, an enzyme that promotes degradation of cGMP, which regulates blood flow in the penis. Caverta 100 mg treats the inability to sustain a satisfactory erection to complete the sexual intercourse. Caverta 100 mg is used with a dosage of 50 mg and should be taken approximately one hour before the sexual activity. The dosage of Sildenafil can be raised to 100 mg or lowered to 25 mg daily depending on the achieved effect. It should not be taken more than once a day. Sildenafil is a compound that causes rare side effects. However users sometimes may experience diarrhea; dizziness; flushing; headache; heartburn; stuffy nose; upset stomach, painful or prolonged erection; ringing in the ears; seizure; severe or persistent dizziness. Caverta 100 mg comes in boxes, each unit containing 20 pills (100 mg/pill).
