This drug should be taken on an empty stomach, about an hour before the meal, in dosages of around 125 mcg per day and increased slowly to 200-400 mcg a day over the following period. When a dose is missed it should be taken as soon as possible. However if it is the time for the next dose, persons has to skip the missed dose and not double it. It is also important to know that Synthroid should not be taken for more than 5 weeks. Levothyroxine is often alternated with Clenbuterol in order to maintain a fat burning environment in the body.
